Meet Tyler – Precision-Focused Bodywork with a Passion for Movement
Hi, I'm Tyler.
I'm passionate about helping people feel better, move more comfortably, and understand how their bodies work. My approach combines focused therapeutic massage with a strong interest in anatomy, muscular function, and movement.
I particularly enjoy deep tissue massage, neuromuscular techniques, trigger point therapy, and assisted stretching. I believe effective massage isn't about applying the most pressure. It's about understanding what your body needs and finding the right techniques to address it.
Every body is different, and I believe every session should reflect that. My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care that supports your comfort, mobility, and long-term well-being.
How I Can Help You Feel Better
I often work with clients experiencing:
Neck and shoulder tension or stiffness
Lower back tightness and muscular discomfort
Muscle soreness from exercise or physical activity
Restricted mobility or limited range of motion
Postural imbalances and repetitive movement strain
Persistent muscle tension affecting everyday comfort
Whether you're an athlete, work a physically demanding job, or simply want to move through your day with less discomfort, I'll work with you to identify areas of tension and build a session around your individual goals.
My Approach in the Treatment Room
My style is a thoughtful blend of:
Deep Tissue Massage – To address deeper muscular tension and stubborn areas of tightness
Neuromuscular & Trigger Point Therapy – To focus on specific muscle restrictions and areas of discomfort
Myofascial Techniques – To support soft tissue mobility and reduce areas of restriction
Cupping & IASTM (Scraping) – To provide targeted approaches to soft tissue tension and mobility
Assisted Stretching & Range-of-Motion Techniques – To support flexibility and more comfortable movement
Swedish Massage – To encourage relaxation and balance focused therapeutic work with overall comfort
I'm calm, focused, and attentive during sessions. I pay close attention to how your body responds and adjust my techniques based on your comfort and feedback.
I tend to let clients set the tone for conversation. Whether you'd prefer a quiet, relaxing experience or want to understand what I'm working on, I'm happy to adapt.
My goal is to provide therapeutic work that feels effective, intentional, and never unnecessarily aggressive.
Why This Work is Personal to Me
I chose massage therapy because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people's lives through hands-on care.
As I studied anatomy and muscular function, I became increasingly interested in understanding how different parts of the body work together. Learning how muscular restrictions and movement patterns can influence discomfort made me appreciate the importance of thoughtful, individualized treatment.
My background in computer science also shaped the way I approach massage. It taught me to think analytically, solve problems, and understand how complex systems interact.
Today, I bring that same curiosity and attention to detail into the treatment room.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing someone leave feeling more comfortable or moving more easily than when they arrived. Those moments motivate me to continue learning and improving my skills.
Who I’m the Best Fit For
You are my ideal client if you're looking for:
Focused therapeutic massage for muscular tension or discomfort
Support with mobility, flexibility, or physical recovery
A therapist who enjoys working with athletes and active individuals
Someone who values communication, precision, and thoughtful technique
Effective bodywork without unnecessarily intense pressure
A personalized approach rather than a one-size-fits-all routine
I especially enjoy working with people who want to better understand their bodies and take an active role in their physical well-being.
My goal is simple:
To help you feel more comfortable, move with greater ease, and feel confident in the care you're receiving.
A Little More About Me
Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy playing video games, listening to music, spending time with friends, and relaxing at home with my cat, Munchi.
People describe me as calm, thoughtful, observant, and dedicated. I can be a little reserved at first, but I enjoy meaningful conversations, learning new things, and sharing a good laugh once I get comfortable.
I'm naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work, which is part of what drew me toward therapeutic massage.
I'm excited to continue developing my skills in orthopedic and sports-focused bodywork while growing alongside the experienced team at Deep Tissue Spa.
I look forward to meeting new clients, building lasting relationships, and helping people feel better through thoughtful, personalized care.
My Pledge: To provide a comfortable, respectful environment where your concerns are heard and your individual needs guide every session.
I will communicate clearly, prioritize effective techniques over excessive pressure, and continuously work to improve my knowledge and skills.
Your comfort, mobility, and overall well-being will always be at the center of my approach.
