Essential oils chosen with you to support the goal of the session — calming, energizing, or clearing.
Hot Stones
Warmed basalt stones carry heat deep into tight muscle, softening tissue before deeper work.
Salt Stones
Warmed Himalayan salt stones pair gentle heat with light mineral texture for extra traction on tension.
Cupping
Suction lifts and separates tissue layers, easing stubborn knots and supporting circulation.
Hot Bamboo
Warmed bamboo tools roll and knead deep muscle with steady, even pressure.
Gua Sha
A smooth-edged tool works along the muscle to release fascia and ease stiffness.
Scalp Massage
Focused pressure across the scalp and neck line eases tension headaches and helps you settle in.
TENS Unit
Gentle electrical stimulation applied during your session to ease acute muscle pain and support recovery.
Theragun
Percussive therapy that quickly loosens tight muscle and boosts blood flow alongside manual work.

Glow Down +$30
A silky full-body scrub, buffed on and lifted away with a warm towel.
Sole Restore +$30
A three-step therapeutic foot treatment — exfoliating scrub, mud mask, moisture cream — plus a take-home foot soak.
Mellow Melt +$30
A rich relief cream worked into your sorest spots during your session. The jar goes home with you, so the relief keeps going between visits.
Stay Put +$30
Kinesiology (KT) taping applied before you leave, to support the area you worked on together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are massage enhancements included in the price at The Deep Tissue Spa?
Yes. Every session includes any enhancement that's right for it, chosen together with your therapist, at no extra charge. Enhancements include Aromatherapy, Hot Stones, Salt Stones, Cupping, Hot Bamboo, Gua Sha, Scalp Massage, a TENS Unit, and Theragun. Some specialty therapies can't use every enhancement — your therapist will let you know what's available for your session.
Do I have to add enhancements to my massage?
No. Enhancements are entirely optional. If you'd rather have just a great massage with none of it, that's completely fine — we don't believe in nickel-and-diming, or in limiting what your therapist can offer you.
What is the only thing that costs extra at The Deep Tissue Spa?
The only things that ever cost extra are four optional Signature Add-Ons — Glow Down, Sole Restore, Mellow Melt, and Stay Put — each $30, plus any retail product you take home.
Do specialty massage therapies also include free enhancements?
Mostly, yes — TMJ Relief, Prenatal + Perinatal Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Deep Calm include the same free enhancements as Customized Massage, since every service is priced the same way, by time. Not every enhancement is compatible with every specialty, though — your therapist will discuss what's available and appropriate for your session.
How much do the Signature Add-Ons cost?
Each Signature Add-On is $30: Glow Down (a silky full-body scrub), Sole Restore (a three-step foot treatment), Mellow Melt (a relief cream for sore spots that you take home), and Stay Put (kinesiology taping).
