Have you ever booked a massage and felt lost trying to choose from a long list of options?
Swedish massage. Deep tissue. Trigger point therapy. Hot stones. Cupping.
How are you supposed to know what you need?
And why does everything seem to cost extra?
At The Deep Tissue Spa, we think getting a great massage should be much easier.
We charge by time, not technique
Here's how we do things differently.
When you book a massage, you choose how much time you'd like.
That's it!
You don't need to know which massage style is right for you.
Your therapist will talk with you about what hurts, what feels tight, and what you'd like to get out of your session.
Then they'll choose from the techniques they've been trained to use.
You might need firm pressure in your shoulders, gentle work around your neck, and something completely different for your lower back.
Your massage can include all of that!
And you won't pay extra just because your therapist changes techniques.
What enhancements are included?
We love the little extras that make a massage feel special.
That's why many of our favorite enhancements are already included in your session.
Depending on your needs and your therapist's training, your massage may include things like
Hot stones
Cupping
Bamboo tools
Aromatherapy
Warm towels
These aren't extra charges.
They're simply tools your therapist can use to help make your massage your own.
Not every tool is right for every person, and that's okay!
Your therapist will help choose what makes sense for you.
Are there any paid extras?
Yes, we do have a few premium enhancements.
These involve special products, such as our foot mask or specialty massage lotions.
Those are optional.
You never need to purchase a premium enhancement to get a great massage.
All of our standard techniques are already included.
How much time should I book?
That depends on what you'd like to work on!
A shorter massage can be a good choice when you have one area that needs attention.
But if you have several trouble spots, or you want time for both focused work and full-body relaxation, we usually recommend 90 minutes.
Here's why.
It takes time to settle in and relax.
And working slowly gives your therapist more time to care for your body without rushing.
A 60-minute massage can be great for focused work.
But those extra 30 minutes in a 90-minute massage give us more room to work.
That's why 90 minutes is our most popular session length!
Your massage should be made for you
We don't believe in giving every guest the same massage.
Your body is different from everyone else's.
Your needs may even change from one visit to the next.
One day, you might need help with sore shoulders.
Another day, you might want to relax from head to toe.
That's why we keep things simple.
You choose your time. We take care of the rest.
