Kimberly

Are you ready to feel like a brand-new version of yourself?

You're not alone. We all want to feel better, but it's hard to change our routines, and even harder to find the right massage therapist to help.

But what if I told you there was someone who knew exactly what you needed?

Kimberly has been a licensed massage therapist since 2017 with over  9,500 hours of hands on experience under her belt. She specializes in Medical, Myofascial (slide) cupping, and Chair Massage. Kimberly's style of massage is a mixture of medical, therapeutic, and myofascial release therapy to help heal your body and get you back on track to living the life you love.

She believes in being open and honest about where to set realistic expectations for what her clients can expect from their treatments, but also in helping her clients learn how to help themselves. Her ideal client is someone who is motivated about achieving their healing goals and willing to put the time in; even when they're at home.

One of Kimberly's favorite things about massage therapy is using cupping therapy because it helps to lift and separate the fascia; reducing adhesions and helping to boost hydration. It's a great add-on to any session or done alone as a stand-alone treatment.

If you're looking for a therapist with an empathetic personality and an extensive knowledge base, book your next appointment with Kimberly today!

My Style

My style of massage is a mixture of medical, therapeutic, and myofascial release.  My ideal client is someone who is motivated about achieving their healing goals and willing to put the time in, even when at home. Oftentimes people will get massages believing it will solely fix the issue. That is not the case. Your life outside the treatment room aids in reaching your healing goals considerably.

Are you stretching?

Do you eat foods that cause inflammation?

How active are you?

Once I have worked with a client and have become familiar with their conditions, I incorporate different stretches and techniques to see what their body does and doesn't respond to, which also helps the client begin to understand their body better.

I want the client to feel involved in their treatment and create a customized experience for you.

The techniques I know have amazing results! Swedish is designed to relax the entire body by running the muscles in long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Medical treatments target a specific problem the patient presents with a diagnosis. Myofascial cupping encourages healing by creating a negative pressure/suction on the skin using silicone cups that pull underlying tissues, blood, and other fluids close to the surface of the skin. Hot stones help relieve muscle pain and tension or to those who simply want to relax. Chair Massage, for people who may have trouble lying on the massage table. Also great for busy people on the go and want to mainly focus on the neck, shoulders, and back.

I love using cupping therapy because it helps to lift and separate the fascia, reducing adhesions and helping to boost hydration. This leads to benefits such as assisting the body in maintaining range of motion in joints, eliminating myofascial trigger points, reducing pain linked to fascial adhesions, and reduce inflammation; just to mention a few. I also like to include stretches during the cupping treatment in order to effectively loosen any adhesions and get all areas of the targeted area.

I started massage school because I was tired of seeing people I cared about being offered band-aid solutions from their health care providers.  Whether injections, pills, or surgeries. Although I believe these are sometimes necessary eventually, I strongly believe giving the body a chance to heal naturally has a big impact on recovery.

I have been a massage therapist for 3 years.

During this time, I have been working in different settings practicing massage: chiropractic office for medical massage, spa for a variety of treatments, and chair massage traveling with the World Series of Poker. I have enjoyed and learned so much from each of these jobs, but my all-time favorite has been traveling with the World Series of Poker. It has provided the perfect balance to my career. I am able to have one on one interactions with clients working towards their wellness goals at the office and spa, but then travel and be immersed in a fun high-energy job provided by the World Series of Poker. This is also a reflection of how I am in the treatment room - adapting to the comfortability and needs of the client. If a client prefers a quiet massage or more of a conversation, that is what they get.

Kim was the BEST LMT I've had in years! She has a great personality and made the whole session enjoyable. If you're on the fence about whether to go or not, book with Kim and you'll feel super afterwards!

Tamara

This was my first ever massage. I came in with a lot of neck and shoulder pain and wasn’t sure what to expect. I was greeted warmly and felt so comfortable with Kim! She loosened muscles I didn’t know I had and although the sore parts hurt a lot to work them loose, I left feeling like a feather and smelling like heaven. My coworkers keep remarking how good I smell. Thank you Kim for alleviating my pain today and making a new experience for me extremely comfortable.
